Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, motivated, expert-level Magento Developer. In this US-based Remote position, you’ll create and implement a dynamic range of new web applications, and also maintain and develop a variety of existing applications.   

• Magento 2  Upgrade experience required.
• Develop in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and HTML.
• Data migration experience for upgrades, product import.
• Automate inventory management data, xml files.
• Provide mock-ups for designs, layouts and update templates.
• Implement MFA, SSO solutions. API implementation with 3rd-party applications.
• Maintain existing code bases, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.
• Perform application upgrades, module configuration, template customization.
• Collaborate with team members as well as operate individually to develop complex web-based applications. Gain an in-depth understanding of our customer’s business goals and related system interactions.
• Work closely with others to define, clarify and estimate project plans, deliverables, expectations, scheduling and of course, functionality of applications.

Skills & Requirements

• Magento 2 Upgrade experience required. Customize and implement Magento 2 Extensions. New Magento website development experience.
• Full-stack developer. 3-5+ years working experience with Magento, PHP. Object Oriented PHP, Test Driven Development, knowledge of the LAMP architecture and related concepts, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, version control system (GIT).
• Must possess strong database architecture and implementation skills, strong experience in efficient MySQL usage.
• API experience integrating with back-end accounting and inventory applications.
• AWS experience, understanding of Linux systems.
• GA4 setup and implementation experience a plus.
• Programming logic, good code-writing style and commenting are a must.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Dependable and professional, self-motivated, quick learner.
• Ability to work independently, but also must work well with others. Ability to manage and record time.
• Ability to recognize tasks that need to be completed and willingness to take responsibility for them.
• Frameworks/applications experience desired:  Magento, WordPress, Drupal, custom PHP application development.
